There are 5 major components of Astrology. 1) Mathematical Astrology – It is based on Astronomy. 2) Hora Shastra – It includes the study of the effect of planets on living beings. 3) Samhita – It describes the effect of planets on a mass of people. 4) Prashna Shastra – It helps when a person ask a query and astrologer prepares a chart to predict the answer 5) Shakun – It focused on the nearby omens while query is asked.
